SCOTT Chamberlain struck a second-half equaliser to earn Bognor a derby day draw with Lewes on Easter Monday.
The Brighton & Hove Albion scholar, on work experience from the Seagulls, netted from Luke Nightingale's cutback in the 52nd minute to cancel out Lewes's ninth minute opener.
And the Rocks were denied a second minutes later when Lewes's Ian Simpemba cleared a Ben Watson effort off the line.
Earlier, Rooks rookie Chris Greatwich had scored his first goal for the club when he touched home at the far post after Paul Booth had headed on a Simon Wormull free-kick.
Booth hit the outside of the post with a free-kick of his own later in the first half as the Rooks pressed for the victory they'd need to keep alive their slim play-off hopes.
But Chamberlain intervened with the equaliser, his second goal for Bognor, to all but end Lewes's interest in the promotion race and condemn Steve King's highly-fancied side to another season in Conference South.
