ONLINE betting company Blue Square have been confirmed as the new sponsors of the Football Conference, with its three divisions to be rebranded.
Conference chairman Bill King announced on Wednesday the signing of a three-year deal, which will begin next season and marks the end of a nine-year association with Nationwide Building Society.
The Conference will be known as the Blue Square Premier from next season, while the Conference North and South will be known as the Blue Square Northern and Blue Square Southern respectively.
Blue Square, which launched in 1999, had previously been partners with Channel 4 for their test cricket coverage.
